The way things will be…

I’ve written a lot since this blog started about the massive changes in the past year. And a little bit about the disappointing and traumatic exit I was forced to make from my company six months ago. So much has changed in my life that at this New Years end of the year it would be tempting to again look backward and reflect.

But I’m done with that. Here are the Cliff notes:

  • If I work towards my personal goals – I achieve them.
  • Anger (even the justified type) gets you nowhere.
  • Schemers will scheme. Unscrupulous people will be unscrupulous.
  • And if you tolerate their negativity in your life because it suits you, one day it will be targeted at you.
  • Lesson learned. Surround yourself with good, positive people and the world is a different place.

I don’t harbour grudges and never have. See point 2 – anger gets you nowhere. A good inhale/exhale combo and a dose of Sailor Vee (c’est la vie, geddit?) is all you need to start moving forward again.

I’m kicking ass in my personal goals. The things that are important to me are stronger, happier, closer, richer, healthier and more profound than at any other time in my life.

Things are refined, clarified and free of pressure and BS.

I have a good list of goals for 2013. Some for myself, some for my family, some for my business pursuits, some for the universe. But alongside that is the greatest gift that 2012 has given me – strength. In every conceivable manner.

And the innate knowledge that I can do anything.

So I thank 2012 and bid it adieu, 2013 is shaping up to be a glorious year.

Happy New Year my friends,

Sailor Vee xx

    • Hi Marilene! Thanks so much for your comment. It’s been a cracker of a year and I think that without the mindset I may have crumbled into a heap and stayed there. It’s been a great time for my personal growth. Thanks so much for reading and all the best for a freaking fabulous 2013 for you too.

  3. I’m at work today Bella and found your blog via the 12WBT mail out this morning. All I can say is, what a wonderful way for me to end this year.. by reading your very inspirational blog. 4. Stumbled upon your blog today Bella and I love it !! It was just the read I needed. You have done amazing things in this last 12 months, go girl !

    • Thank you! It’s been a totally crazy year and not one I could have predicted at all but I’m so happy with where I am at the moment 🙂 Hope you are doing well too!

  5. Hi Bella. I also just found your blog today via a 12WBT email, and am loving reading about what you’ve been up to. What a huge year you’ve just had ! No doubt you will rock 2013. You remind me that although I’ve got to my weight goals, I still need to work on the mindset stuff, and that it’s a choice every day as to how you react. I’m thinking that maybe, just maybe, I can take your lead and work on getting me some muscles. Scary just writing that part. Thank you for being so honest. Keep up the writing please. Best wishes. xx

    • Hi Jane! Thanks for your lovely comment 🙂 Honestly, the muscles are less scary than I thought they were going to be. It is seriously AMAZING how quickly good muscle tone changes the shape of your body. I’m by no means ripped (and highly doubt I ever will be!) but muscle definitely makes me look more athletic and shapely than I am without them. It’s also a bit of fun!
Thank you again and please stop by and let me know how you are doing. Happy New Year!!

  6. I left the house this morning after having my first diet shake and by the time i got on the train i decided to buy myself a nice chocolate slice and coffee when i got to work. Well done to you bella, you shpuld be very proud of yourself!
